[职场]四种职场风格解读 你属于哪一种?

没有比听人们争论到底什么是“工作”而更令人沮丧的了。谁努力工作,谁会聪明地工作,或谁根本就不工作这样的谈话更多的是在评判他人,而不是去解决效率低下的问题。

  There is nothing more frustrating than listening to peoplehaggle over different definitions of what constitutes "work." Catty conversations about who''s working harder, who''s working smarter, or who''s notworking at all are more about judging others than solving in efficiencies。

  没有比听人们争论到底什么是“工作”而更令人沮丧的了。谁努力工作,谁会聪明地工作,或谁根本就不工作这样的谈话更多的是在评判他人,而不是去解决效率低下的问题。

  As my thinking has developed over the years, and afterperusing many, many personality tests, I believe that there are four basicworking styles: Doing, Leading, Loving, and Learning. The best teams have abalance of all four styles. So, what''s your style?

  经过了多年的思想沉淀,进行了无数的性格测试后,我认为有四种基本的工作风格:实干型、*型、热爱型和学习型。这四种风格在好的团队中会达到一种平衡。那么,你的风格是什么?

  1.Doing

  1.实干型

  Doers execute. They come alive when tasks are complete, lists arechecked, or projects are tackled. They typically have intense focus and aredetailed in their efforts。

  实干型的人执行任务。当任务完成、清单清空、项目处理后他们才会感到轻松活跃。他们能高度集中注意力并非常努力。

  Doers are usually so focused, however, they may forget tolook up and communicate what they''re doing. Doers also tend to dive into workwith little forethought.They believe that everyone should "Shoot, Fire, Aim" and tend todevalue the important work of planning。

  实干型的人通常非常专注。然而,他们也可能忘记和别人交流所做的事情。实干型的人还容易不假思索就开始工作。他们相信每个人都应该“瞄准,开火”,却往往忽略了计划的重要性。

  2.Leading

  2.*型

  Leaders create the vision and inspire others to believein it. You can''t help but listen to, admire, and follow the Leaders. Without Leaders, we would be spinning in a hamster wheel with no real vision。

  *型的人创建愿景并激励他人相信这样的愿景。你忍不住去倾听、崇拜并追随*者。没有*型的人,我们就会像仓鼠在轮子里旋转那样,没有远见。

  Leaders can be detached from others, not completelyunderstanding all that goes into executing their vision. Because they''re out infront, they sometimes forget to check in with the people following them。

  *型的人可以远离他人,他们不需要完全理解执行愿景计划所涉及到的所有事情。因为他们走在*前面,所以有时会忘记检查跟随他们的人。

  3.Loving

  3.热爱型

  Lovers are relationship-builders. Believing that we''restronger together, they thrive in harmony and work hard to manage relationships and build consensus。

  热爱型的人是创建关系的人。他们相信人们在一起会变得更强大,他们在和谐的环境中茁壮成长,努力工作来经营人们之间的关系并创建共识。

  People strong in the Loving working style are sensitive and empathic. They have an unconscious finger on the pulse of every other person onthe team. If you want to know how others on your team are really feeling, askthe Lover。

  拥有热爱型工作方式的人敏感并具有同情心。他们从潜意识中就能把握住团队中其他人的动向。如果你想知道团队中其他人的感觉,可以问问热爱型的人。

  But Lovers can suck at follow through and moredetail-oriented work. Left to their own devices, they can out-empathize anyoneand make people feel great, but not provide "tangible"work。

  但是热爱型的人很难做好富有细节性的工作。由于他们自身的特点,他们很容易同情他人让人感觉良好,但是他们不能*“实质的”帮助。

  4.Learning

  4.学习型

  Learners are the researchers. These engineer types love learningand meticulously understanding the nuances of a problem. They are deliberate,disciplined, and tend to think more strategically than most people。

  学习型的人是研究人员。这些工程师喜爱学习并能一丝不苟地了解问题的细微差别。他们深思熟虑、有纪律性,并往往比大部分人更能深入进行战略性的思考。

  Without others, however, Learners wouldn''t get much done.In order to execute their best-laid plans, they need a team ready to act. Theirstrategy is only as good as the problems they actually solve--not in theory,but in reality。

  然而,没有他人的帮助,学习型的人不会完成很多事情。为了执行他们*完美的计划,他们需要一个团队,可以随时采取行动。他们的策略和要解决的问题一样好——不是理论上的问题,而是现实中的问题。

  Everyone has unique strengths that become super-charged oncethey''re aligned with other people''s strengths. Rather than critique someone who you believe isn''t working," make sure you''re living out your unique contribution in a powerful and sustainable way. Just do what makes you comealive。

  每个人都有自己独特的优点,一旦它们和他人的优点结合起来就会变得威力无比。与其批评别人“没在工作,”,不如自己持续用力地贡献出自己的力量。什么能让你兴趣盎然,就做什么吧。
